Lakeside Estates Bed and Breakfast was designed and built in 2000 by its innkeepers and owners, Tony and Beverly Scapin. Tony took the lead, as he has more than 40 years of home building and designing experience. They enjoy having guest come into their home and share the beauty of the lake and the forest with them.
When you arrive to Lakeside Estates you might be greeted by Buddy, our lovable, well behaved, Labradoodle. Buddy has hypoallergenic qualities and lives in our home with us but is not allowed in Guest Rooms or the Gathering "Breakfast" Room. We also have a property cat Trooper who does not come into the bed and breakfast but enjoys any attention you might want to pass on when you are outside.
This White Country Inn sits on top one of the Berkshires' hills overlooking Otis Reservoir, the state's largest recreational body of water. It hosts more than 1000 acres of clean water and innumerous activities. Our Lakeside Estates Bed and Breakfast has more than 110 feet of water frontage, allowing guests to enjoy plenty of space and time on the shore. On warm summer evenings, Tony and Beverly like to treat their guests to Sunset Pontoon Boat Rides and then back to the outside firepit for and evening of roasting marshmellows and fireside conversation.
The bed and breakfast is one of 10 buildings that rest on the 8.5-acre country lakeside estate. There are multiple buildings along with a rental cottage that are available for use by the week during the months of June through September, as well as for shorter stays throughout the rest of the year.
